Chapters 7-9
An important quote from this book is "You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view...until you climb into his skin and walk around in it". Give two examples from this novel of times characters should have done this and explain why this would have been a good idea. Also include a time that you either "walked around in another person's skin" or SHOULD have done so. Explain the situation, how you acted, and how you feel about it now.

One example is when Ceicle was bugging Scout about her dad defending court, Ceicle should have thought what it was like to be Scout and how she felt. And when Scout was making fun of Walter, she should have not bugged him. I should have done it when i torment my brothers because if they did it to me i wouldnt like it.
ReplyDeleteone time was when Scout was making fun of walter because she never took into account his state of living at all. Also Dill and Jem shoulda taken Boo's feelings into consideration i think when they went into his yard. some times i could step into someone elses skin are when i hand in stuff late to the teachers cuz it makes stuff harder on them to move on in thier teaching.

The first time was when Scout was making fun of Walter because she never thought of how Walter lived and how he was brought up and it would have been a good idea because then she wouldn't have been yelled at by Cal. The second time is when Scout was fighting with her cousin Francis because he was making fun of Atticus, Francis should have thought of how he would have felt his Scout was making fun of his father because then he wouldn't have got punched and Scout wouldn't have gotten in trouble. I should have taken into account how Reuben felt when I broke his birthday present and then tried to fight him afterwards saying I didn't do it. I acted like a jerk and now I feel sorry about what I did.
ReplyDeleteThe time miss caroline got mad at scout because she knew way to much for a kindergarden. Miss Caroline should have just try to understand that she was smarter and maybe she could have just skipped a grade. When scout was making fun of walter. She should have just tryed to understand and not have done it. I think i could look from my brothers persectives when i get mad at them.
ReplyDeleteOne time in the book when scout was getting bugged from ceicle just because her dad was helping the court out.When did and jem kinda of made fun of boo radley they should of thought about his feeling.When i yell at the teacdher because i dont get alone with there rules they probley dont like some of them but they have inforce the rules to i have to take in that it hurts them to.
